Doug Peta helps investors efficiently apply macro analysis to their investment processes. His approach to investment strategy is founded on the study of cycles and is meant to cut through the barrage of inputs to focus attention on the macro signals that matter.
He leads BCA’s Essentials team, specializing in bringing the firm’s expertise to life for busy clients who don’t have the time to become macro mavens themselves.
Before joining the firm in 2010, he traded US equities for institutional clients at an investment bank and Asian equities for an asset manager, where he also served as the strategist and large-cap Financials analyst.
Doug is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is based in New York, where he lives with his family.
